Some personal info
I was born, raised, primarily educated and now partially reside in Edessa. My hometown is associated with Aegae, the old capital of the Ancient Macedonian Empire. The paternal branch of my family resides in Edessa from around 1800. A nearby hill (Ύψωμα Πέτκου – Petkou’s Hill) has my family’s name. Heraklion-Crete is our second family hometown. Milano comes third.

Through my maternal family from Irakleia-Serrwn I am related to Achilles Papapetrou, one of the most important Greek scientists of modern times.
